Final Project and Presentation Options
                                                                    2015

1.  Writing- 
  • Rewrite an act or scene from the perspective of another character
  • Where is Fleance?
  • Create a children’s version of the play
  • Did Macbeth really live?  Did he live at Inverness or Cawdor Castle?  Do some research and present the real Macbeth to the rest of the class.
  • Where was the modern film version filmed?  Find out and all the other details about the property.  Why would a director want to film there?
  • Write a paper analyzing Macbeth’s changing character


2.  Music- 
  • Write the lyrics of an original song to tell the tragic story of Macbeth and perform it for the class.  The point of view is your choice.

  • Write or learn a new song for your instrument that is inspired by the play and perform it for the class.


3.  Technology/Film-
  • Write, produce and film an act or scenes from Macbeth using your own creative ideas.  - 5 minutes
                                               
  • Interview two or more characters from the play Ellen style (or Jimmy Fallon) and ask that character all the unanswered questions that have been burning inside you throughout the play. -5 minutes

4.  Art
Advertising/ Marketing
  • Design and paint a creative, colorful, film advertisement for the release of the updated 2015 film version (or an older version) of The Tragedy of Macbeth.  This painting must be original and dynamic to promote its sale.

Sculpture
  • Create a sculpture inspired by the play.  The medium is your choice.

Painting
  • Create a painting inspired by the play. 

Clothing
  • Design and create a piece of clothing or outfit inspired by the play

5.  Food-
  • Create a culinary dish inspired by the characters or events in Macbeth and bring it in to the class. 
  • Research a dish or dishes from Shakespeare’s time and make it for the class
